The Night Out Essentials

January 29, 2016

TGIF! Ugh, I’ve had such a terrible migraine the past few days. The weather has been so nice out, and I am stuck inside on the couch with my 32 oz. bottle of Gatorade. Literally keeping my fingers crossed that I get better before Monday, because I’ve got such a long week ahead! However, being a couch potato has it’s perks. Nabeel (my fiance) got food delivered to me so I could stay in and rest. But, I can’t rest. My soul is restless. LOL. So, here I am, blogging away. Sorry babe, don’t be mad at me 🙂

It’s Friday! And what’s a better time to share my night out essentials, than on a Friday?!

When I go out, I  like to keep my look simple, yet classy. It’s important to know the perfect balance between being simple, but also unforgettable. The curls in my hair always scream “Baow!” and make me feel unforgettable for the night.  As I am getting older, I have learned that time is crucial. Especially when you’re in a relationship. And you’ve gotta learn how to get ready in 10-15 minutes (or at least that’s what I tell Nabeel). Otherwise, you won’t hear the end of it. Haha! So, I always spend more time on my hair, and a little less on my face (I don’t like caking my face, so I keep it simple).

Here are some of my go-to essentials when I’m getting ready for a night out. Give me a curling iron, nude lipstick, mascara, a delicate piece of jewelry and I am ready to roll!

NIGHT OUT ESSENTIALS

1.

Night Out Essentials
xtava curling iron

Xtava curling iron. This curling iron has an auto rotating barrel. My hair is 1 inch above me waist and with this baby it takes me approximately about 7-8 minutes to give it luscious curls.

2.

Nightout Essentials
Living Proof: Style Extender

Living proof: Prime style extender. I usually use this at the roots of my hair prior to styling it. It gives my hair life by adding volume and bounce to it.

3.

Night Out Essentials
Estee Lauder: Sumptuous Mascara

Estee Lauder Sumptuous Mascara. If there is anything I invest a lot of money in, or must have at all times is the mascara. You can never go wrong with having fuller lashes with lots of volume!

4.

Night Out Essentials
Estee Lauder: Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick

Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick. The picture does not do this color justice. Seems really dark in here, but the color is “Intense Nude” (you can see the color better when you click the link). Even if I don’t have a full face of makeup on, this lipstick color is more than enough to put my whole look together.

5.

Night Out Essentials
Tory Burch logo earrings

These are my favorite pair of go-to earrings. They were gifted to me by Nabeel on the night he proposed. I hold them really dear to my heart. I’m not sure if Tory Burch still carries this style, but you can always add your own favorite to the look. Mine just happens to be these earrings and my engagement ring 🙂

We all have our own looks when we are quickly running out the door for a night out. I like to keep it simple and not too time consuming. I get very attached and comfortable with my go-to essentials. So, it’s really hard for me to always switch up my routine. BUT, I am getting better at not being too attached lol.

I hope you give some of these things a try, if you haven’t already! I love them all and highly recommend it to anyone who needs a trust worthy product.

Enjoy & thank you for stopping by!
